House Kottler, 2019

Connecting inside and out

Schaerer Architects produced the working drawings and served as the site agent for House Kottler. This renovation, by Cohen and Garson Architects, involved a comprehensive transformation of an existing modernist home, carefully tailored to the client’s needs. A new staircase and circulation area now connect three distinct zones — the living space, kitchen, and bedrooms — creating a fluid spatial experience. An innovative steel-and-glass conservatory was added to the living room, providing panoramic views and seamlessly blurring the line between interior and exterior.
