A curved brick landmark
Schaerer Architects served as site agent, overseeing all working drawings for the Dining Hall extension at the University of Mpumalanga, designed by Ludwig Hansen. A standout feature of the new building is the intricate brickwork on the curved corner façade, creating a distinctive landmark that guides visitors to the entrance. Deep recesses, courtyards, and balconies help control sunlight while enhancing the outdoor dining areas.
