This compact project for Wits University transforms a constrained footprint into a fully raked cinema. The design exposes the mechanics of performance — acoustic panels and bass traps are deliberately expressed, turning technical necessity into architectural language. Fine mesh screens float in front of the surfaces, providing protection while maintaining visual permeability and depth.
